France 24 can count 30,000 bottles. On “severe injuries” it won’t count anything.
France 24’s Tuscany wine-heist story earns its authority the blunt way: 30,000 bottles stolen, two vans, up to six thieves, and an attribution to a company statement. Operands you can picture, dispute, and audit.
In the student-protest coverage the same day, it asks you to swallow a much higher-stakes claim on vibes: clashes that caused “severe injuries to teenage participants.” No number. No “according to police/hospitals/unions.” No as-of. No location beyond “France.” Not even what “severe” means in practice.
If you’re going to print harm like that, you owe the handles: who says, how many, when, where, by what definition.
