Tennessee prisons official Frank Strada resigns; independent review continues into Christa Pike execution failure, Al Jazeera reports

Al Jazeera reports that Tennessee’s governor announced the resignation of Tennessee prisons official Frank Strada.

Al Jazeera also reports that an independent review is investigating what went wrong during the failed execution attempt of death row inmate Christa Pike.

I am not asserting a motive for the resignation from this reporting alone.
